Start Again at the First Line

Let yesterday be yesterday and let today be captured.
Open your hands and let it come to you just like the lightning bugs on a summer night.
Be present and pay attention, because what is happening today can only happen today.
Slow down as you collect the sights and sounds that surround you.
Make mental notes and snap photos.
Build new moments and memories.
Gather your questions and take hold of the truth.
Sit still and take it all in as beauty and grace find you right where you are.
After all, you can only be right where you are.
Keep your eyes open as you lean into what is happening.
Don’t let today pass you by.
Enjoy the space between where you are and where you are going.
Let today become nostalgic.
And when tomorrow arrives, start again at the first line.
