but i know life triumphs death
when faith pumps hope
through every
waking breath

My friend has been teaching me to ask God two questions:

God, what are you doing?
And can I be part of it?

How powerful are those two questions?

And if we listen, can you imagine how beautiful the answer may be?

When I take a moment to pause and look at my life I realize something more is taking place than meets the eye.

I realize God is doing something.

He’s doing something more.

When I was a boy I often found myself asking my mom and dad
what are you doing?

Often times it wasn’t that I wanted to do what they were doing, I just wanted to join them in what they were doing.
I wanted to be with them.
I wanted to be side by side with them.
I wanted to be part of what they were doing.

That’s all.

And the same is true with God.

I just want to join Him in what He is doing.
With every waking breath I want to join Him in what He’s doing.

God, what are you doing?
Can I be part of it?
