For all I have done.
For all I have felt.
For all I have feared.
There is grace.
There is hope.
There is love.
There is more to the story

Every Sunday we sit in the silence to reflect and repent.

I close my eyes and still my hands, hoping my mind mimics the stillness.

And I confess.

I lay it out and down.

An honest exhale.

Yesterday I read Psalm 139:23-24.

Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!
And see if there be any grievous way in me,
  and lead me in the way everlasting!

Our reflection and repentance leads to remembrance.

We remember grace is forever and free.
We remember hope is real.
We remember a love unlike any other.

We remember that there is more to our story, because of what Jesus has done, is doing, and will do.

We are reminded of an unchanging truth that continues to echo a beautiful truth deep within us.

There is grace.
There is hope.
There is love.
There is more to the story.

There is.
