The Light of the World
The Light of the World
John 8
When I look up at night, I see how the stars have found their way through the darkness once again.
They push until we see their faces or they see us… but either way, the light has arrived.
When I see them, I remember how the stars had a few days to practice before man walked the earth.
The animals were the first to sit beneath the glow of their unhinged beauty.
Isn’t it something that, from the very beginning, God placed reminders of hope around us so we could remember that the truth is never far?
Creation echoes the words of the One who is the light of the world.
And the light always finds a way to bring us home.
Away from the darkness and into the light, what is before me is everlasting life.
No shame or fear can keep me down, I am heading home to the One who calls me found.
