Spreading Hope Together
Spreading Hope Together

I love what I get to do for a living.
I get to write stories and craft poems.
I get to travel and share messages of faith and hope and love.
I get to make jokes and write books and live a creative life.
I get to share what I have learned with the world around me.
Being a poet is different kind of job.
When I tell people that I am a poet they often give me a confused look.
They don’t know what to think.
They don’t know if I am being serious or if I am joking.
I am being serious.
Deep down I believe this is the life God has invited me to live.
To be a writer and a poet and a storyteller.
The other day someone asked me how they could support my work.
I hesitated.
I mentioned how helpful it is to like and share posts, but this answer didn't satisfy them.
They asked again.
”How can I support your work?”
So, I told them about Patreon.
Patreon is a platform that allows fans, friends, and followers to support the work and mission of the creatives they love.
For me, Patreon allows me to keep spreading hope.
Patreon gives me the space to create blogs, write stories, craft poems, record podcasts, and spread hope around the country.
So, I'll share with you what I told my friend:
Join my Patreon today.
You can pay whatever you'd like.
$5 is a month is extremely generous.
You'll receive weekly writings and ideas and updates.
And by doing so you'll help me continue to spread hope.
With hope,
