Jesus Still
I know Jesus still changes the ordinary, like when He turned water into wine.
I know Jesus still brings healing, like when He told the man with the withered hand to stretch out his hand.
I know Jesus still calls the lost, like when He said to Matthew, “Follow me.”
I know Jesus is still saying, “Follow me.”
I know Jesus still speaks the truth, just like the Sermon on the Mount.
I know Jesus still feeds the hungry, like He did the 5,000.
I know Jesus still creates a way forward, like when He said to the thief on the cross, “Today you’ll be with me in paradise.”
I know Jesus still opens eyes, like when He rubbed mud on the blind man’s eyes and opened them wide.
I know Jesus still calms the storms, like when He spoke, “Peace be still” and the storm was still.
I know Jesus is still saying, “Peace be still.”
I know Jesus still does miracles, like the ones in Capernaum and Galilee and Judea.
I know Jesus still turns hearts to God, like Saul and Zacchaeus and Peter.
I know Jesus still forgives sins, like He did the paralytic man.
I know Jesus still breaks bread and pours wine, just like the night He was betrayed.
I know Jesus still spreads hope, just like He did with every word He spoke.
I know Jesus still invites us to come and see and rest and fully live and believe, just like He did day after day after day.
I know Jesus still loves and knows me, just like He still loves and knows you.
