and it is in hope that I will grow.
and it is in hope that I will stay.
and it is in hope that I will remain.

I’m not sure when I latched onto the word hope.
Or when the word latched onto me.
But I’m not letting it go.
And I pray it doesn’t let go of me.

How do you define hope?

I think hope is the full assurance of what God will do.

What He has done in the past.
What He has been doing all along.
And what He will continue to do.

Hope lets the light in where the darkness has made a home.
Hope catches the lies and hands you the truth.
Hope meets our weakness with encouragement.

The depth of this word holds unshakeable certainty.
Hope is a word of great confidence and comfort.
It is a battle cry for victory.
It is strength for the weak.
It is wind in the sails.
It is a reminder that something more is happening here.
It is a proclamation for restoration.
This perspective is a promise.

And it is in hope that I will grow.
And it is in hope that I will stay.
And it is in hope that I will remain.

With hope,
