Gather Together
Gather Together
Community has become somewhat of a buzzword.
Like, vulnerability and vibes and intentional and mood.
But there is a reason why buzzwords stick around and become part of our everyday vocabulary. Although, I’m still trying to figure out why the word vibes has become so ingrained in our culture.
I don’t get it.
Maybe it’s just me.
Is it just me?
It’s probably just me.
Without a doubt, there is something incredibly powerful about community and the lack thereof.
“Gather together.
Let the daylight remind you summer is
bringing a new season
and a sunset
and change.
And let the change remind you we were made to.
To change.
And to gather together.”
Community gives us a home; a place to be ourselves.
It allows us to grow and be challenged.
It holds up a mirror and shows you who you are and reminds you of who you are becoming.
Community has walls and a roof; it’s a place to call home.
Community invites us to change and hope and dream.
It is in community where we hear we are forgiven and loved and welcomed.
But what I love most about community, is it allows you to be seen and known.
Seen and known.
As scary as that may sound ...
And as hard as that might be …
Don’t we all want to be seen and known?
Gather together.
