breeze

It happened so slowly, yet so suddenly and beautifully.

The brown leaves became green.
The empty land became a garden.
The cool breeze became a warm wind.
The dark afternoons became bright evenings.

June gracefully turns spring into summer
and quietly reminds us we too were made to be alive,
to bloom and become,
to change so slowly,
yet so suddenly and beautifully.

And I wouldn’t want to live in a world that didn't have a June.
